Goal: to revive the AOL brand.

The problem: AOL has so many negative associations people just can't get past: that dial-up sound, the terrible merge deal, its reputation as a tech dinosaur. On the plus side, they have been on the upswing in recent years, becoming a leader in advertising technology as well as acquiring Huffington Post & TechCrunch, but the general public is not aware of this at all.

The solution: a pop-up, real life chat room event, bringing together people of different ages, demographics, and cultural & political bubbles in response to the divisive 2016 election.
